Gaten Matarazzo stays busy!

As Strange things temporarily halted season 4 production in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, the New Jersey native has accepted a new summer job, and it has nothing to do with Hawkins, Indiana, or Upside Down.

The 17-year-old actor works as a food runner at a restaurant on Long Beach Island, where a few of his family are also employed, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed with the representative of Matarazzo.

The outlet also reported that although Matarazzo wears a hat and face mask at work, the Netflix star has always been recognized by fans – which is not a big surprise as the Strange things is one of the most watched shows by streaming services.

A representative for Matarazzo did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Days later, on March 12, Matarazzo and McLaughlin also attended one of the last NBA games before the season’s suspension due to the health crisis. The two friends and teammates were pictured during the game smiling as they posed side-by-side in Georgia as the New York Knicks took on the Atlanta Hawks.

Production was halted on Strange things a day after the release of Matarazzo and McLaughlin and has yet to resume.
