Ellen DeGeneres spent her Saturday with her boyfriend Kevin Hart. The two were seen having lunch together about two weeks after Hart spoke up to defend DeGeneres during his workplace investigation.
DeGeneres, 62, and Hart, 41, were pictured having lunch and a glass of wine at the Rosewood Miramar Beach Resort in Montecito, California. The daytime show host has a house nearby, while Hart appears to be spending time in the Santa Barbara area with his family as his wife, Eniko, prepares to give birth.

Hart expressed his support for DeGeneres in a heartfelt Instagram post on August 4.
“It’s crazy to see my friend go through what she is going through publicly,” he said. “I have known Ellen for years and can honestly say she is one of the most doped people on the planet f ******. She has treated my family and my team with love and respect since the first day.”
“The internet has become a mad world of negativity… we fall in love with people in the fall. It’s really sad… When did we get here?” He asked. “I support those I know and love. Looking forward to the future when we start loving each other again… this shit of hate has to stop. Hopefully this goes out of fashion soon.”
Hart concluded, “This post is not meant to ignore other people’s feelings and experiences … It’s just to show what I’ve been through with my friend. I love you forever, Ellen.”
DeGeneres notably had Hart’s back after his resignation as host of the Oscars last year, following controversial tweets that resurfaced nearly a decade earlier. DeGeneres invited Hart to her show to explain her decision and offered her support, sharing that she had asked the Academy to take him back as host. The talk show host then found herself in the hot seat, receiving feedback from fans in her defense of Hart.
As ET previously reported, Warner Bros. Television sent an internal memo to staff members last month, informing them that WarnerMedia would be hiring an independent third-party company to interview current and former employees about their experiences behind the scenes at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, after a current employee and 10 former employees interviewed anonymously BuzzFeed News about their negative experiences working on the program.
In an internal letter to salon staff, which was obtained by ET, DeGeneres apologized and said she was determined to “have conversations about fairness and justice.”
ET learned that a virtual staff meeting had taken place to inform employees of the broadcast of the investigation into the allegations of workplace misconduct.
