Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Developer Mediatonic is forcing The Brands to fight on behalf of charity. The game’s official account tweeted today that because “brands lust was unreal” it will create a special costume for the highest bidder. All proceeds will go to Special Effect, a UK based charity for players with physical disabilities.
Since its release earlier this month, Fall guys became an instant hit. In the first 24 hours of launch, the game attracted over 1.5 million players. The battle royale game supports up to 60 players in a series of mini-games; players are eliminated over the course of several randomly selected game turns before an end player is victorious. Part of the fun of the game is earning costumes and customization options to make your rubber battle bean stand out.
After two weeks, Mediatonic says it will confirm details with its winner and publicly share confirmation of the donation. That being said, not just anyone with cash to spend can step into the game. “If we decide your brand is offensive / unsuitable, we’ll keep your promise and pick the next higher!” the developer tweeted.
