For the first time in the club’s history, Paris Saint-Germain will play in the Champions League final. The French beat RB Leipzig 3-0 on Tuesday in the Champions League semi-final single match in Lisbon.
The goals were scored from unconventional places with Marquinhos, Angel Di Maria and Juan Bernat on the scoresheet, while Neymar and Kylian Mbappe were conspicuously absent. That’s not to say they weren’t involved, of course, as their presence alone allowed their teammates to break free while attacking and putting the ball behind the net. Neymar got an assist on the second goal of the match with a nice lookless heel chip that miraculously found his Argentina teammate.
