Cameras started ringing as scheduled today on the last two episodes of The CW Supernatural in Vancouver.
The producer of the Warner Bros. series TV reached an agreement with local unions which paved the way for the start of production. Like all other Hollywood productions, Supernatural was closed in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The CW at the time chose to retain seven episodes, including the two that had yet to be shot, for a final chapter to be broadcast in the fall of 2020. In anticipation of the resumption of filming this week, the channel has yesterday set a premiere on October 8 for the series finale of the series, leading to the series finale.
This is the first WBTV series to resume production in Vancouver. He joins Netflix Midnight Mass, who recently started filming, with ABC The good doctor topped a list of other shows slated to start filming in the next two weeks.
Following the filing of the last two episodes of SupernaturalStar Jared Padalecki’s 15th and final season will be filming his new CW series, Walker.
