In early August 2020, rumors swirled around Adams and Crawley two weeks after filming The bachelorette Season 16. Next, multiple posts revealed that Adams would replace Crawley as the 2020 frontman. The Sacramento barber is said to have fallen in love with one of his competitors, Dale Moss. But both women will still be featured in the new season.
“The producers told her the season would always lead with Clare and her short trip, and show Clare falling in love with one of her suitors,” a source tells E! News. “Clare will then conclude her trip and announce that Tayshia is the leader.”
Next, People shared that Adams was ready to embark on his new journey. Although it looks like the new bachelor won’t be getting an entirely new roster of potential suitors.
“Tayshia was up for it and ready to go,” a source told the publication. “What remains to be seen is whether more men will be brought in now to give Tayshia a full list of suitors.

Then August 18 The bachelorette has released an extended promotional trailer for the new season. But again, Adams is absent and Crawley takes center stage. In the 15-second clip, Crawley is inundated with roses as Aretha Franklin’s “Respect” plays softly in the background.
“What you want, baby, we’ve got it,” the caption read on Instagram and Twitter. “#TheBachelorette arrives Tuesdays on ABC.”

When The bachelorette ditched social media promos, the response was shared. Half of the fans were inundated with comments about the new season’s premiere date. The teasers confirm that the show will return on Tuesday evening. But ABC has yet to announce a premiere date.
Meanwhile, others Bachelorette viewers wondered why the network hadn’t mentioned Adams in any of the trailers.
“So all the promotions will only show Clare and not Tayshia ???” wrote a fan on Instagram.
“Why don’t we show a tayshia trailer,” another fan wrote. “Like we know this is happening.”

Then, some Bachelor Nation fans expressed their disappointment, noting that ABC’s decision robs Adams of all the excitement of the preseason.
“I really wish Tayshia also received promotions and the preseason recognition that comes with being a Bachelorette,” one fan wrote on Reddit.
“I am frustrated that Tayshia will not receive any promotion or official press from ABC until the start of the season,” wrote another fan. “It sucks.”

Many viewers wanted BEEP alum as the main role since she first appeared in Colton Underwood’s season of The single person. And like Crawley, Adams deserves to be celebrated.
