Ross Duffer and Matt Duffer, who created the series, revealed some clues as to how the series will end in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“We know what the end is and we know when it will be. [The pandemic] gave us time to look to the future, to figure out what is best for the show. Starting to fill in that has given us a better idea of how much time it takes to tell this story, ”said Ross Duffer.

Viewers found themselves with Hawkins’ children spending the summer of 1985 fighting the supernatural in Season 3.

As for Season 4, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the top priority is the safety of the cast and crew, and Ross Duffer said that “that will dictate when we get back.”

In the meantime, the Duffer brothers said they had more time to work on scripts and visual effects.

“For the first time ever, we have all the scripts written and we are able to look at it as a whole and make adjustments,” said Matt Duffer.
