New court documents filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday, obtained by CNN, reveal that she wants Jodi Montgomery to continue to be her curator. Montgomery was named his temporary curator after Spears’ father stepped down following health issues last year.
“Britney is strongly opposed to James [Jamie Spears] as the curator of his person, “say the court documents.
CNN has reached out to representatives for Spears and her father for comment.
The guardianship is expected to expire on Aug. 22, according to the documents.
Spears has been under court-ordered guardianship since 2008, following a series of high-profile personal struggles. Her father has been her keeper of her daily affairs and medical decisions.
A hearing on the filing is scheduled for Wednesday.
