A PlayStation 5 launch ad has confirmed that Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Returnal are set to launch in the first half of 2021, with Horizon: Forbidden West set to launch in the second half of 2021. You can check out the trailer. on the PlayStation YouTube page here, which has a small textual note below the gameplay sequence, confirming a number of launch windows for the games that have been announced as the PlayStation 5 reveal nears.

You should take this with a pinch of salt given that it is said to be ‘anticipated’ in the first half and second half of 2021, as release dates can slip due to continued pandemic pressure, delays and other logistical issues. We already knew that Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was a “launch window” PS5 game after the news broke in August, and Horizon Forbidden West was announced for 2021 when it was revealed in June. It just gives us a little more clarity on when these two games can officially appear.

News that Gran Turismo 7 would launch in the first half of 2021 was also leaked via a Canadian PlayStation ad last week, but this is the first time we’ve heard of a release date for Returnal, the new game. Shooter from Housemarque who appeared briefly in the PlayStation 5 reveals his stream in June.

The PlayStation 5 will launch on November 12 and 19 worldwide. Pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 are currently sold out, but if more increase, they will immediately appear in our PS5 pre-order guide.
