Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray threw for 283 yards and three touchdowns while running for 106 yards and one touchdown on Sunday, but those numbers weren’t enough for the Cardinals to secure a victory over the Dolphins.

The Dolphins scored 10 points in the fourth quarter while Chase Edmonds was stopped on a fourth down to complete a practice and Zane Gonzalez failed on a basket after a failure in the third and 1 that would have tied the game. The 34-31 loss kept the Cardinals from ahead of the Seahawks in the NFC West, but Murray said after the game he was not at the center of his concerns.

“Personally, I wasn’t really worried about the division’s top spot,” Murray said in his post-game press conference. “I don’t think anyone should be worried about this. I think no one should worry about this. We came here and laid an egg. We have to be better. “

Murray had converted a fourth and one earlier in the game running for 28 yards, so head coach Kliff Kingsbury was faced with questions about the games they called them. He said he had “had a few bad late calls” and that their memories would linger for a while as the Cardinals moved on to face the bills.
