Halo 4, the first game in the series developed by 343 Industries, hits Windows PCs on November 17th, Microsoft announced today. The remastered version of the game will be the latest addition to the Master Chief Collection, which was released last year and slowly added new Halo entries since then. Perhaps more important to many gamers though, this remastered game bundle is also coming to the Xbox Series X and Series S on November 17. So at least you’ll get some Halo play while waiting Infinite Halo to arrive next year.
As the weakest game in the series, Halo 4 wasn’t a game I couldn’t wait to see again. But it might be worth revisiting now with slightly better graphics performance. You can buy it outside of $ 40 Master Chief Collection, but the best way to get it is through Microsoft’s Game Pass subscription. If you’re a PC gamer looking to dive into the series, be sure to check out ODST after going through the original trilogy. It is unlike any other Halo input yet, and it has a sublime soundtrack to boot.
