Brittany breaks with Yazan

Sunday’s episode of 90 day fiancé: the other way started with Brittany and Yazan getting into another huge fight right before they were reunited. But at the end of the episode, Brittany told her friend that she thought she had to “settle down a bit”.

“It doesn’t have to be a fight or a breakup,” she says.

Brittany flies to Jordan, Yazan misses at the airport

Right before Brittany’s trip to Jordan, she and Yazan embarked on another massive fight. Yazan blamed Brittany for crashing her car even though she was not in the country when it happened. After the argument, Brittany wasn’t sure she wanted to return to Jordan after all. But her friend Angela had already bought a ticket to visit her. So Brittany decided to go spend some time in Jordan with Angela (not Yazan).

Once in Jordan, Brittany figured Yazan was not going to look for her because of the fight they had. But Yazan introduced himself. He called her several times but she did not pick up her phone. So they messed up.

When Angela caught up with Brittany, she was shocked to hear all the drama that had happened. She told her friend that she should care more about Yazan’s predicament (getting kicked out of his house, getting kicked out and his father threatening to kill him because of his relationship with Brittany).

“Brittany trying to dismiss Yazan’s issues is really just a defense mechanism, so I think she’s really careful when it comes to her heart,” Angela said. “She’s been injured before, so now any problems they might have are just out of proportion.”

After another fight with Yazan over FaceTime, Brittany and Angela go for a walk in a game Jordan Yazan had warned Brittany. After feeling uncomfortable on their walk, the women head to a bar. There, after having had a few drinks, Brittany admits that Yazan misses her.

“For example, I have frustrations with Yazan, and some of them are valid, but I also think I could be a little more supportive,” she told Angela. “I wanted to be an independent and strong woman who doesn’t need a man. But I miss him! But I need to settle down a bit. It doesn’t have to be a fight or a breakup. I don’t want him to feel like I expect him to be perfect. There’s just a few things that I really need him to work on, and I need him to be serious about it, because building a life together is serious, you know?

After a while, Brittany called Yazan to come get her. But Angela feared that Yazan was not thrilled with the state of Brittany.

“I’m glad she’s open to seeing it, but I’m a little worried because Brittany seems to be a little tipsy and I’m worried about Yazan’s reaction,” Angela told the cameras. “I pray that I won’t be caught in the crossfire.”

Are Brittany and Yazan going to get back together and make things right? We’ll have to keep watching to find out.
