West Wing actor Richard Schiff and his wife Sheila Kelley tested positive for coronavirus: ‘We are determined to find a way to health’
As coronavirus cases continue to climb across the country, Emmy-winning actor Richard Schiff has joined the growing list of famous faces to counter the widespread virus.
The West Wing actor, 65, tweeted on Tuesday that he and his wife Sheila Kelley, 59, were sick with COVID-19.
On polling day, I tested positive for Covid-19. It has been the most bizarre week of our lives, ”he wrote.

After calling his wife “ also positive ”, he continued:
“It’s difficult. We are determined to return to the path of health. We support everyone who is struggling with this problem. Love from here.
Kelley, who has appeared in various feature films and TV shows, including a recurring role on her husband’s series The Good Doctor, also shared the news on Instagram.
“Richard and I have news. We have both tested positive for COVID-19. We are quarantined in our home in Vancouver, recovering, ”Sheila wrote.

“ On polling day, I tested positive for Covid-19. It’s been the weirdest week of our lives, ” Richard wrote
“This virus is a slippery sucker. One minute you almost feel good and the next you can’t catch your breath. The symptoms change dramatically every day, if not every hour.
“For those of you who do not have this virus, stay healthy, continue to practice physical distancing,” she also added. “If you have Covid, we’re in the same boat. Breathe deeply. Breathe slowly. Breathe fully. We will go through this together.
Schiff recently attended The West Wing’s one-off reunion on HBO Max, where he joined teammates Martin Sheen, Allison Janney and others on a special in partnership with When We All Vote in support of President-elect Joe Biden and of his neighbor. Vice President Kamala Harris.

The news comes as the new coronavirus continues to break records, with confirmed cases surpassing the 10.3 million mark as of Tuesday.
About 240,000 Americans have so far lost their lives due to the pandemic.
At 65, Schiff is in the senior age group considered to be at high risk for potentially serious coronavirus symptoms.
And while several U.S. states continue to impose restrictions to curb the spread of the virus as hospital admissions skyrocket, there is cautious optimism that an effective vaccine could be on the horizon.
