Larry David’s daughter Cazzie opens up about her breakup with “Saturday Night Live” star Pete Davidson.
The two dated for two and a half years before going their separate ways in 2018. Davidson, 26, would later be romantically linked to Ariana Grande and Kaia Gerber.
Despite having a deep love for the comedian, she struggled to convince him of her feelings and was afraid to end the relationship because she told the Los Angeles Times – in a new interview published Wednesday – that “Previously threats of self-harm and suicide came from trivial circumstances.” The “SNL” star previously said she has struggled with suicidal thoughts, but has since “encountered the right treatments” to combat them.
Eventually, Cazzie was able to part ways with Davidson, only to call him a few days later to say that she had made a mistake. The comedian, however, had moved on.

He told his ex he was “the happiest he has ever been” just before word broke that he and Grande, 27, were involved. Cazzie also noticed on social media that the tattoos Davidson got in his honor were covered up.
During a flight to her sister’s graduation, an upset Cazzie “shook uncontrollably in [her father’s] arms for the whole flight “and would wake up in the night” screaming in agony “.

Things got even more difficult when fans of the comedian wrote social media posts about Davidson’s new relationship as an upgrade.
The young writer struggled to watch him “immediately fall in love” with the pop star, who was “accompanied by the sound of his baby voice whispering sweet words in his ear, coupled with his declarations of love and of confidence passed in me “.

“It was a really pivotal moment in my life,” Cazzie told The Times. “And writing about it caused me a ton of anxiety, mostly because I’m talking so much about hating the attention it got me. Why would I draw more attention to myself? writing about it? But there’s nothing that’s going to be worse than what I’ve already experienced with it. “

Cazzie and Davidson are friends again and she showed him the essay in which she talks about the breakup. The “King of Staten Island” star is even mentioned in the book’s acknowledgments.
