This is interesting news. By me, Trevor Daniel will serve as Titans bettor for tomorrow’s prime-time showdown with Foals:
Trevor Daniel is expected to serve as a punter for the #Titans tomorrow, according to sources.
Daniel has beaten Ryan Allen in practice and will get the nod.

This is curious news. Daniel was signed to the practice squad on the same day as the three-time Super Bowl winner Ryan allen was signed on the active roster to replace All-Pro punter Core board, who went to IR with a wrist injury.
Allen was great in his first game in Tennessee. He’s averaging 50.5 yards per punt with a long 65. You’d take those numbers every week, but the Titans are apparently making a change.
This is particularly interesting because Allen also served as the incumbent for Stephen gostkowski, who had a perfect day against the Bear. Gostkowski has praised Allen’s outfit abilities in the past. The two spent a lot of time with the Patriots. I wonder if Allen can also be active for this game, if only to serve as a starter. That would certainly be a curious way to use a listing location.
The word is that Daniel, who played his college football at Tennessee, consistently outperformed Allen in practice.
