Jean Trebek feel the love of the whole world Peril! family.
The deceased’s wife Alex Trebek thanked fans for their outpouring of support after the legendary Peril! The host died Sunday at the age of 80. She wrote a touching Instagram post on Wednesday November 11 to acknowledge all the love she received.
Jean said, “My family and I sincerely thank you for your compassionate messages and your generosity. Your expressions really touched our hearts. Thank you very, very much.”
She also shared a cute photo from their wedding day in 1990, with Alex slipping the ring on Jean’s finger. They went on to have two children together, Matthew and Emilie.
Alex had been battling pancreatic cancer for about a year before passing away “peacefully” surrounded by family and friends, the game show’s Twitter page reported.
Nicky trebek– Alex’s adopted daughter with his first wife Elaine– shared a photo of prayer candles on Tuesday to recognize her father’s passing.
