Nevada Attorney General slams Utah’s Sean Reyes for unsubstantiated allegations of voting irregularities

Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford slammed Utah Attorney General Sean Reyes for saying he saw evidence of “voting irregularities” during a weekend visit, telling him to ” mind your own business, ”the Las-Vegas Review-Journal reported on Wednesday.

These are the answers we’re looking for,” he continued. “We deserve to investigate and find out because any evidence of wrongdoing, intentional or not, compromises the ‘overall fairness in the electoral process and can deprive millions of Americans of votes. ”

According to reports from the Washington Post and fact-checking website PolitiFact, courts and news organizations that have examined allegations of fraud or voting irregularities in Nevada have so far found no evidence of this fact. . Election officials from both parties across the country also said they saw no signs of fraud, The New York Times reported this week.

But Reyes said earlier this week that he plans to continue dedicating his personal time “to work with those in Nevada or any other state to ensure claims are filed as quickly and accurately as possible.”

It is only after “the courts have ruled and the certifications finalized” that “we can get a final result for America,” he said.

Reyes’ campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.
