A Pfizer coronavirus vaccine volunteer in Austin, Texas, told “Fox & Friends” about his experience in the clinical trial, urging others to “get it as soon as possible.”
The company reported that its vaccine was found to be 90% effective against COVID-19 with more than 43,000 people tested worldwide.

Hearing the positive results, Deshields, who volunteered for the trial after seeing him on the news, tweeted: “My grandfather told me that one of his earliest memories was of bells ringing for mark the end of World War I. He told co-host Ainsley Earhardt on Thursday that he was fairly certain he received the vaccination and not the placebo, as he had shown antibodies after receiving the second injection.

“I had side effects,” Deshields said. “Lots of pain at the injection site … I haven’t had coronavirus so that’s a good thing.”
He admitted that the side effects after the first injection “were a little more serious than I thought”.
“Basically I had a headache and a lot of fatigue, pain at the injection site… maybe three to four days,” he said. “The second was similar but it was a lot more subdued. It wasn’t as strong. I think I took a little bit of Advil and they basically cleared up.”

Deshields recommends people get it ASAP.
“I spoke to my doctor. He said there were differences in the way this one works, but, at the end of the day, it’s still a vaccine and people shouldn’t. be afraid of it, ”he concluded.
