Rivers’ first completion, an 11-yard pass to rookie running back Jonathan Taylor against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday night, brought him past Marino for the fifth in his career.

Rivers, 38, entered the game in Nashville, TN with 61,358 passing yards in a 17-year career, needing just 4 yards to pass Marino. He finished the night 29-for-39 passing for 308 yards and the lone TD as the Colts won 34-17.
