Brittany Banks star admits she ‘felt stuck’ with Yazan

Brittany Banks faces many relationship challenges with her Jordanian boyfriend Yazan Abo Horaira this season of 90 day fiancé: the other way. And in a recent interview, the reality TV star admitted that she “felt stuck” with Yazan because of all the sacrifices he made for her.

Yazan and Brittany come from two different worlds. And as we see on this season of 90 day fiancé: the other way, their conflicting cultures created several problems.

For starters, when Yazan’s dad, Ziad, found revealing photos on social media from Brittany, he kicked Yazan out of the house. “I had to stay on the street for two days,” Yazan revealed on the show. “Then I rented an apartment and looked for work. I’m not talking to anyone. I spend time alone. I swear, Mohammed, this has been the most difficult, really the most difficult time that I have been through.

And then, when Yazan insisted he wanted to be with Brittany, his father threatened to kill him outright. “I want you to join him and tell him, ‘If you marry him, your father will kill you,'” Ziad told his eldest son, Obaida. “I’m telling you, and I’m warning you. I swear, tell Yazan if he doesn’t reconsider his decision, I’ll be his murderer.

In a recent Instagram post, Brittany shed some light on her relationship with Yazan. She said that despite their challenges, the couple’s love was still real.

“First, no matter how different Yazan and I are or how much we fight, it’s clear that we have some passionate searing chemistry,” 90 day fiancé wrote. “Only people who love each other fight so hard to be together. I’m tough on the outside because I have a wall and that’s something Yazan understands. He sees a side of me that you can’t see.

But Brittany felt ‘stuck’ with Yazan at one point

Speaking to ET, Brittany acknowledged all the sacrifices Yazan made for her. But she also noted that she often told him not to go that far.

“It’s really heavy, especially when you find out after someone has made all these sacrifices and then told you it’s the sacrifices they made, you know, it’s heavy,” Brittany explained. “Because you wanna, now you’re in something you had no part to get into, really, because you kept telling that person not to do that, not to do that, and they decided to do it anyway and then told you, they did it for you.

Brittany noted that seeing Yazan make all these sacrifices was “difficult to deal with.” And she said the resulting pressure made her feel “stuck”.

“I just felt stuck,” Brittany said. “I felt very stuck and felt like, very, the world was falling apart around me because I never want to be in a position where someone’s life is in danger because of the love they have for me, and I never want to be in a position where someone loses everything they love because of me. I’m definitely going to let that person go before it even gets there. I want people to be better because of me. I don’t want them to get any worse. So it was a really, really difficult situation.
