Future and Lil Uzi Vert have teamed up for a new album titled Pluto x Baby Pluto, which was produced by DJ Esco. They also shared a video made by Hype Williams for “That’s It”. Watch the video and listen to the album below.
Lil Uzi Vert released their third album Eternal Atake early March and followed it up with the companion project LUV vs. World 2 a week later. The rapper’s latest album came nearly three years after his predecessor, Luv is the rage 2.
In late 2019, Lil Uzi Vert hinted at the arrival of Eternal Atake with a new single and a new dance to accompany it: “Futsal Shuffle 2020.” He released a video for the track in January. He has since appeared on several collaborative tracks, most recently on Gunna’s “RELENTLESS”.
He joined G Herbo, Chance the Rapper and Juice WRLD on “PTSD” in February, and had a guest spot on Lil Wayne’s Funeral “Multiple Flows” bonus track in May. In June, he appeared on “Count a Million” alongside NoCap, then joining Shy Glizzy on “Right or Wrong.” He started the month of July with A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Don Q on “Flood My Wrist”.
Future, meanwhile, also released a number of singles this year in addition to his May album. High Off Life. Lil Uzi Vert appeared on High Off Life, just like Drake, Young Thug, DaBaby, Lil Baby, Meek Mill, Travis Scott and many more. Earlier this week, Future and Octavian shared the new song “Rari (Chapter 1)”. Previously, he contributed a guest verse to a remix of RMR’s ”Dealer” and joined the Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz on “Dead Man Walking.”
Future released two joint tracks with Drake in January: “Life Is Good” and “Desires”. In March, he also launched the #MaskOn campaign, an initiative through his FreeWishes Foundation to provide face masks to those in need during the coronavirus pandemic.
