Original article (Wed 11 November 2020 11:00 GMT): Zarude, a Mythical Pokémon released in Pokémon Sword and Shield, will soon be available to players outside of Japan for the first time.

The Pokémon was first distributed to Japanese players in August who pre-ordered tickets for the upcoming movie. A second Zarude cast, featuring a new form of Pokémon, has also been announced for the country.

Now, however, a new event has been announced for Germany, Austria and Switzerland (thanks, Serebii). This distribution is tied to the launch of Vivid Voltage, a new expansion of the collectible card game that features the Pokémon and offers players a serial code to obtain it.

The event would run from November 13 to December 13. No further distribution has been announced for other countries yet, but we expect to see other regions follow suit as Zarude slowly moves towards players around the world.
