Pedro Carvalho won’t let Thursday’s result deter him from his ultimate goal.

Carvalho (11-4 MMA, 4-1 BMMA) was stopped at 2:10 of the first set after being shaken by the champion. The loss broke a six-game winning streak for Carvalho.
On Friday, the 25-year-old took Twitter to address defeat.
“Training as usual, nothing has changed, everything is the same,” Carvalho said in a video. “Of course I’m disappointed with myself and the result, but hey, that’s what it is.
“As my trainer (John) Kavanagh says, ‘you win or you learn’, and this loss will definitely take me to the top and give me the tools I need to get to the top. Nothing has changed. For those who love me or hate me, I’m still the same Pedro who says he’s the best in the world and who will prove he’s the best in the world. Nothing changes.
“Thank you all for your incredible support. It was amazing, it was fantastic, thank you very much. I’ll be back.”
