K-Pop Stans Derail #MillionMAGAMarch with deluge of pancake images

On Friday, the #MillionMAGAMarch hashtag was inundated with photos of pancakes in what is the latest brilliant troll led by K-pop stans on social media.

The idea to use pancake photos seems to have come from actress Shea Depmore, who posted a video on his TikTok and Twitter accounts Wednesday, asking people to fill in the hashtag with “syrupy goodness” to help make the hashtag unnecessary for those who want to participate in this Saturday’s walk. Mission accomplished.

“The Fiers Boys and Mega Mad MAGAers are descending on DC this Saturday for the Million MAGA Walk. I’ve seen a lot of them on this app rightly warning people to stay away because these fools are attached and they are angry. But I don’t want these Proud Boys to be proud. So here’s what we’re going to do: We’re going to have a Bitchez Million MAPA Pancake Brunch! That’s right, Make America Pancakes Again. Bake yourself some pancakes or find a great pic and fill the #MillionMAGAMarch hashtag with syrupy goodness, ”Depmore said in the video. “Someone, please let the K-pop people know.

Depmore also hosts the mapa2020.com site which directs users to more information on the plan to continue dragging the hashtag with pancake photos until Saturday, when the walk is scheduled.

Since then, dozens and dozens of K-pop stans have shared images of pancakes on Twitter with the hashtag #MillionMAGAMarch – and others have joined in as well.

The trolling comes months after K-pop and TikTok users also staged a prank to register for free tickets to President Trump’s June rally in Tulsa without intending to actually assist in order to inflate campaign expectations regarding crowd size.
