Surely all ARMY wants for Christmas is a performance from BTS, and that’s exactly what they’ll get! On Friday, November 13, SBS announced that the K-pop boy group is the first performer on the upcoming SBS Gayo Daejeon 2020.
The annual music festival is scheduled to take place on December 25 in the South Korean city of Daegu, and BTS will take the stage just one month after releasing their fifth Korean-language studio, Be. The theme of this year’s SBS Gayo Daejeon will be “The Year of Wonders”.
Coincidentally, Daegu happens to be a special place for more than one member of the boy group – V was born there, while Suga calls the city his hometown. (He is currently recovering from surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.)
