Ben Platt says he had COVID-19 in March

Ben Platt has revealed he was diagnosed with COVID-19 several months ago.

Responding to a question posted on Twitter on Sunday, November 15 – “Do you personally know anyone who has contracted COVID-19?” – Platt said he did, in March.

“It was like a terrible flu that lasted for about 3 weeks,” he wrote of the symptoms he was experiencing. “Fortunately, they have made a full recovery. Many have not been so lucky and will continue to not be.”
