Meghan King has revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19, seven months after her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, contracted the virus.

The former Real Housewives Of Orange County, who shares three young children with the former Major League Baseball star, made her diagnosis public on her Instagram Story on Sunday, November 15.

“I tested positive for Covid. I have been safe traveling but had an exchange on Tuesday where I did not protect myself and that’s when I must have been infected, ” the reality TV star wrote , 36, before referring to the current security measures she was taking.

“ I’ve been safe with my distances and my masks since Tuesday, including when I went out to dinner solo and stayed aloof and wore a mask at Hayes football. ”

King went on to explain in detail how she and her family plan to keep their children – her daughter Aspen, 3, and their twins Hart and Hayes, 2 – safe in the future.

“ My children have been at their father’s house but Hayes will be quarantined due to a brief (1 hour) proximity to me, ” King added.

“I have contacted everyone and will isolate for a minimum of 10 days as per CDC guidelines. My children will have to stay with my parents because they cannot stay with me while I am sick.

King confessed to her million fans and subscribers that she “ feels bad ”, but also pointed out that she is fine.

“ I went for a test mainly due to extreme lethargy, but I just knew I was positive, ” she explained of how she was feeling right before she got her results back.

“I don’t have a fever. I have extreme exhaustion, sneezing, a slight cough, and diarrhea. I think I’m losing my sense of smell. I ordered a diet of vitamins and tons of rest, water and food. None of my friends or family are infected or have symptoms.

Initially, King thought she might just have a cold, but eventually started to think it might be the coronavirus when symptoms of extreme fatigue appeared.

“ I have been under enormous amounts of stress recently and I knew my immune system was weak for it. So despite having been directly exposed several times, this is the moment that attracted me, ” she said.
