This week, fans voiced concerns about Kelly Ripa, believing she had shown “extreme” behavior on Living with Kelly and Ryan. So far, this conversation has only played in Instagram comments under the Living with Kelly and Ryan account posts, but are rarely commentators in such an agreement on a topic. However, the vast majority of reviews are still positive, with fans complimenting Ripa’s outfits and praising the show in general. Some of those fans even started arguing with critics, sparking heated exchanges.
“She looks happy,” one person wrote. “Their vibe right now is great and I find them so funny together. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it!”
Ripa is considered one of the “most influential people in the media,” according to The Hollywood Reporter, with influence both in front of and behind the camera. She joined Live! in 2000, following the retirement of Kathie Lee Gifford. She co-hosted with Regis Philbin until her retirement in 2011, she was housed alone as she tried various co-hosts to replace him. Finally, almost a year later, Michael Strahan became his full-time co-host.
Strahan stayed until May 2016 when he moved to Hello america, and this time Seacrest quickly took over. In the meantime, Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, have built a production company called Milojo, which gives them both enormous freedom and power in the entertainment industry – especially in New York City. Despite fan fears about her energy level, there is no indication that Ripa is facing any serious difficulties at this time.
