Conan O’Brien’s next show heads to HBO Max

After ten years on TBS, Conan O’Brien is moving from late-night television to a streaming platform – although he won’t go far. On Tuesday, WarnerMedia announced that it has ordered a new weekly variety series featuring the comedian for HBO Max. As The variety emphasizes, the series does not yet have a name, or an exact release date. However, it’s a safe bet that it will take off once Conan’s TBS race is over in June 2021.

“In 1993, Johnny Carson gave me the best advice of my career: ‘ASAP, go to a streaming platform,” said O’Brien. “I’m thrilled to be able to keep doing whatever I do. on HBO Max, and I’m looking forward to a free subscription. ”
