SOUTHWEST OF MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) – Police have identified the victims of a double homicide at a home in southwest Miami-Dade.

Miami-Dade Police responded to a house in the Southwest 93rd Avenue and 136th Street neighborhood around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Investigators said a clean-up team found the bodies of the victims after entering the house, which was being used as a short-term rental. Neighbors called the rental a holiday home.

When officers arrived, they found the two deceased victims, identified as Tyron Coleman, 23, and Jessica Moye, 26.

Moye’s uncle Thomas Jones and his family are heartbroken after learning of their niece’s death.

“The image doesn’t do it justice,” Jones said. “She was a beautiful child, a beautiful person. I just miss her. I miss her now.

Jones said he recalled watching the evening news and praying that Moye was not among the victims.

“I know Jessica loved to party and have fun,” Jones said. “I said, ‘Lord, don’t let that be my niece.'”

Her uncle described the 26-year-old as their child because they raised her from the age of 12 until she was 18.

“It’s not easy,” Jones said. “Our Jessica was like a girl, not a niece.

Police have not disclosed how the victims died and have not disclosed the relationship between them.

No arrests have been made so far.

“If anyone has obtained any information that could lead to this person doing this, please come forward,” Jones said. “Please come on.”

If you have any information about this double homicide, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember that you can always remain anonymous and you could be entitled to a reward of $ 3000.
