But the California-born actor still navigates the fierce audition scene, amid the global COVID-19 pandemic.

On Friday, he got the perfect response to a casting director who insulted the actor’s apartment during a Zoom audition, after apparently forgetting to mute his mic.

The 25-year-old took to Instagram with the quick clip, writing, “ PSA: if you’re a *** speaking director, be sure to mute your mic when zooming in ”

He can be seen in a white sleeveless t-shirt, standing in his living room, with a flat-screen TV visible over his shoulder.

“ These poor people live in these little apartments, like I’m looking at his background, and he’s got his TV and you know … ” the director could be heard from the other side, as Gage reacted with a grinning face , telling him, “Yeah, no dumb.”

US actor Vandal added, “ I know it’s like a **** apartment. That is why [you should] give me this job so I can find a better one.
