A 29-year-old straphanger became the last New Yorker pushed onto subway tracks on Sunday when he was attacked at a Brooklyn train station.
The victim was on a northbound Train 4 shortly before 11:30 a.m. when her assailant, who was sleeping, woke up and started yelling at her, police said.
It was not known what the suspect was screaming, cops said.
When the victim and his girlfriend got off at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center stop, the screaming man also got out and followed the couple, then pushed them into the southbound lanes before fleeing.
The victim was able to climb back onto the platform and was not seriously injured, police said.
The incident follows several jostling incidents in the metro in the Big Apple, including two back-to-back last week.
A 40-year-old Brooklyn woman was pushed onto the platform at 14th Street-Union Square station in a gruesome video attack on Thursday. Victim Liliana Sagbaicela later told the Post that she had no recollection of the incident.
Late Wednesday, a subway cyclist was pushed onto the tracks at Bryant Park station by a beggar. The victim, 36, also escaped serious injuries, police said.
