We’ve seen renderings leaked before showing the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup, but now we’re seeing what the Galaxy S21 might look like in a case, and we’re not fans.
Renderings shared by @UniverseIce (a leaker with reasonable history) shows what is presumably the Samsung Galaxy S21 or Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus in a case, and as you can see the camera design means there’s a cutout of strange shape on the back.
Cases could potentially work around this problem by making the cutout larger, but then they would sacrifice protection, so neither option looks ideal.

Of course, these images may not be authentic, but they are consistent with what we’ve seen of the Samsung Galaxy S21 so far. The leaked Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, which appears to house all of its lenses in a larger camera block, likely won’t have this problem.
Besides the annoying camera, these latest images show off the all-screen design on the front, complete with a punch-hole selfie camera, which again is consistent with what we’ve seen before.
Unlock Bixby
In other Samsung Galaxy S21 news, SamMobile reports that according to its sources, Samsung will allow you to use your voice to unlock the phone. This will apparently be powered by Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant, but there are no details on how it works.
The two likely options are either a spoken password, which would be fine when you’re alone but comically insecure in public, or the device just recognizing your voice, which would work in public but sound like it’s probably less secure. than a fingerprint. or even face unlocking.
We also don’t know how useful it would be to be able to unlock your phone with your voice. While there are times when you want to unlock it and use it hands-free, we think most of the time other unlocking methods would be better.
We should know exactly what Samsung is up to before too long, as reports suggest the Samsung Galaxy S21 lineup could land as early as January.
