“A lot of you are wondering… why we’ve been so absent on social media and why I’m sitting, say, 25 yards from the girls,” Arie said, showing the distance between him and his family.
“It’s because I tested positive for COVID… nine days ago. Tomorrow I’ll go in and see if I’m completely clear. It was tough, I have to say. This has not been easy.
The piece of television did indeed seem a bit crowded as he spoke.
Keeping the distance: The race car driver appeared on his Instagram Stories at the end of a long table outside, with his wife Lauren Burnham and daughter Alessi Ren sitting at the other end.
At the bottom of the video he wrote a caption which read: ‘Tested positive for Covid and it’s been 9 difficult days’.
As for how they got along, Arie explained that he keeps his distance from his wife Lauren, 29, and their daughter Alessi, 18 months old.
“I was on the other side of the house. Lauren was really nice, ”Luyendyk continued.

And after their wedding, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham welcomed their daughter in May 2019.
The couple subsequently miscarried last spring when on May 30 Lauren and Arie revealed they had lost their second pregnancy.
They said there were signs of problems early on, when the baby was estimated to be “eight weeks old,” but only appeared to be five weeks old.
“ We were really confused by this, ” Lauren later said.

“ But our doctor assured us that it could be a number of things and not panic about it. It could mean I’m just not as long as I was, it could mean I ovulated less, or it could mean it’s not a viable pregnancy.
Both followed the pregnancy, but the fetus continued to develop more slowly than normal.
And on May 28, Lauren learned that she had suffered from a missed miscarriage, which happens when “the embryo dies without your knowledge and you don’t give birth.”
