Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has become the NFL’s best quarterback, a foolproof Hall of Famer (if he plays enough seasons) and potentially one of the greatest of all time. Not everyone saw this potential at first glance.
Receiver Tyreek Hill, appearing on Showtime’s Inside the NFL, made it clear that he was among those who did not immediately believe.

Hills may not be alone in his assessment, but his words just don’t match the things said during Mahomes rookie season by tight end Travis Kelce.

It apparently took Hill longer to come, but eventually he did. Because it quickly became clear to anyone that Mahomes was anything but “trash”.
