Letitia Wright faces backlash on Twitter after tweeting a link to a YouTube video containing disinformation and lies about the COVID-19 vaccination.

I won’t link to the hour-long video of a self-proclaimed “prophet” here, but just be aware that it starts by saying, “I don’t medically understand vaccines, but I’ve always been a bit skeptical. their.” The video also contains transphobic elements.
It’s safe to say the fans weren’t happy:

Even Don Cheadle, Letitia’s Marvel costar, got involved after initially defending her:

Letitia then tweeted to talk about the “cancellation”:
if you don’t conform to popular opinions. but ask questions and think for yourself …. you are canceled ?
Which sparked a dialogue in itself – including a response from writer and professor Roxane Gay:
@letitiawright Thinking for yourself doesn’t mean you’re right. And you are not canceled. But damn. To promote anti-vaccine propaganda and wrap it in intellectual curiosity is absurd. And dangerous.
Letitia then began to respond to some of his responses:

She also liked tweets calling for her overhaul Black panther 2, and for the film to cancel:
Following all of this, Letitia tweeted again that her “intention was not to hurt anyone”.
my intention was not to hurt anyone, my ONLY intention to post the video was that it raised my concerns about what is in the vaccine and what we are putting in our bodies. Nothing else.
For your information, companies are required to submit a ton of safety data before they get FDA approval. There is no evidence to suggest that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, which have sought emergency FDA approval, are dangerous.
