It looks like Apple might have another surprise for us this year.
MacRumours reports that it obtained an internal memo from a “trusted source” this week, in which Apple notifies service providers that it is planning changes related to AppleCare for next Tuesday (December 8) at approximately 5:30 a.m. Pacific time (8:30 a.m.ET, 13:30 GMT). According to the memo, Apple told technicians to expect new product SKUs, new and / or updated product descriptions, and prices for new and / or updated products.
So, maybe we could see the launch of Apple’s first pair of over-ear headphones this year after all. The company has had a busy time lately, having hosted a series of hardware events to announce the iPhone 12, HomePod Mini, and iPad. Its most recent Mac “ One More Thing ” event last month marked Apple ending its hardware disclosures in 2020 … or that’s what we presumed. This memo suggests otherwise, however, because MacRumours It’s wise to point out, this memo might of course not mean anything new.

It’s worth nothing, however, that the leaky Apple reliable Jon Prosser recently said that the AirPods studio has been delayed until the spring of next year, with a launch slated for March 16, 2021. As always with the rumors about Apple products, we’ll just have to wait and see …
