ABC Grey’s Anatomy, who took another walk on the beach with Meredith Gray meeting a new old friend, topped the evening in Thursday’s prime-time hearings with a 1.2 among adults ages 18-49 and 5.67 million viewers. He partnered with Station 19 (0.8, 5.38 M) and A million little things (0.6, 3.84m) to give the network the overall victory in both demo and viewers, with broadcasters mostly reverting to the originals after the Thanksgiving break.
Grey’s was stable with its previous original two weeks ago, while Station 19 and Millions of little things were a tenth.
CBS was second in overall viewership and tied for second with NBC in the demo with its comedy lineup back in the originals last night, starting with the most-watched show of the night. Young Sheldon (0.8, 7.27M), followed by the recruit B positive (0.6, 5.20 M), Mum (0.6, 5.17 M) and The Unicorn (0.5, 3.62 M) – all were tied with their last originals. Star Trek: Discovery (0.2, 1.89M) came full circle the same night with last week.
The Voice Holiday Celebration NBC’s (0.7, 5.27M) special drove the night, which included Law and Order: SVU (0.6, 4.04 M) and Dateline (0.4, 2.90m), this latest pair was up one tick from two weeks ago.
Fox was forced to take the week off Thursday night football with the scheduled Baltimore-Dallas game postponed due to Covid-19 issues with the Ravens. Less the usual night TNF, Fox instead broadcast the Major League Soccer playoff game between Minnesota and Kansas City (0.2840,000). The network was preceded in the global demo by Univision which offered Overcoming grief (0.5, 1.55 M), Empire of Lies (0.3, 1.14 M) and Sweet ambition (0.3, 1.10 M).
The CW party included the special iHeart Jingle Ball Highlights (0.1, 530K) and a new The funniest animals in the world (0.1, 620K).
