The world’s newest private jet has landed in Europe.
The Praetor 600 is the latest executive aircraft from Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer and has just been delivered to its first customer, Flexjet. Embraer Executive Jets began developing the aircraft in 2018 as part of a new product line aimed at improving existing private jets using the latest technology available in aircraft manufacturing.
As a launch customer of the jet aircraft, Flexjet is the only company currently flying the $ 21 million aircraft in a $ 1.4 billion order that will allow Flexjet to expand its Fleet of Embraer aircraft alongside the Legacy 450, Phenom 300 and Praetor 500. The Praetor 600 will serve the European division of Flexjet based in London as the company continues to grow internationally beyond the United States.
Flexjet’s latest arrival comes as more high net worth individuals turn to private aviation following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the airline industry. Private jets are seen as a safer, cleaner and more exclusive form of transportation than airliners, giving companies the perfect opportunity to attract new customers to private aviation.
