With days to go before the start of the 2020-21 NBA regular season, the James Harden business saga continues, with no resolution in sight.
At this point, the Miami Heat, along with the Philadelphia 76ers, would be the first to land the former regular season MVP.

Harden has wanted to leave Houston for weeks, but trade talks have not been successful for the Rockets.
The Miami Heat have reportedly been torn over whether to include some key players in a potential deal. At first they weren’t ready to give up second-year goaltender Tyler Herro, but now reports have surfaced that another blue-chipper, Duncan Robinson, is the sticking point in a possible trade.
At 31, Harden will likely want to play for a team that gives him a better chance at winning his first NBA Championship than he ever had in Houston.
If ever a trade were made between Houston and Miami, it could radically change the balance of power in the Eastern Conference.
