The 15-year-old boy arrested as part of the roving bicycle gang that wrecked two cars in Manhattan said Thursday the allegations against him were of owning a bicycle.
Geovanni Valle, who was arrested Wednesday night on charges of criminal mischief and rioting for the daylight attacks, denied being involved when The Post met him outside his Corona home hours after his release from prison. ‘a detention center for minors.
“I think these are bulls – t,” Valle said. “I wasn’t even there!”
The teenager said he was picking up a birthday present for his mother at the Queens Center Mall around 4 p.m. Tuesday when dozens of teenage bicycles randomly attacked two vehicles along Fifth Avenue, first one yellow cab on 29th street, then a BMW SUV on 21st street.
“It was my mother’s birthday. I was looking for her present, a sweater and shoes, ”said Valle, who showed the Post a receipt from the mall’s Footaction shoe store with a 3:49 pm timestamp.

Valle said he showed the same receipt to the police, who were not convinced.
“They said it was okay,” recalls Valle. “Other people said it was me [at the crime scene]. “
The teenager’s father, Oscar Valle, said police showed footage of a youngster at the crime scene who they said was the youngest of his three sons.
“The police say for sure, it’s him!” said the old Valle. But he noted that the boy in the photo was “much taller and very strong! My son is a skinny guy.”
Geovanni added, holding the photo of the suspect in front of his own face, “I don’t think it looks like me.”

Geovanni’s older brother Johnathan admitted there was some resemblance.
“Sounds a bit like him, a bit,” he said – noting that there was another reason he didn’t think his little brother was involved. “He doesn’t have a bike to do this.”
Oscar said it was difficult to see his son arrested.
“I feel depressed to see my child in handcuffs, treated like a criminal,” he said. “He’s only 15 years old.”
Geovanni Valle said his only awareness of the savage attacks was seeing a video on social media.

“It’s crazy! I know people don’t have lives, they just do stuff like that,” he said. “I was watching him on Instagram. I didn’t think it would come back to me! ”
Valle was released early Thursday from juvenile detention pending a virtual appearance in family court.
