Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness has revealed he is married after secretly tying the knot with his London-born partner Mark Peacock.

Speaking to Instagram on New Years Eve, the hairstylist teased the ad by first reflecting on the whirlwind of 2020.

“Thank you to the universe for allowing me to be here and thank you to everyone who has supported me,” began Jonathan, 33.

Listing his accomplishments over the past 12 months, Jonathan slipped, “I got married to my best friend and I have a loving partner to continue building my life with.”

Among the photo carousels documenting some of the highlights of the year, Jonathan included a photo of himself and Mark beaming in front of the camera, likely taken on their wedding day.

Fans of the Netflix star immediately began to share their utter shock at the nuptials by congratulating Jonathan in the comments section.

However, it emerged that some of his Queer Eye colleagues knew the secret.

Tan France also commented on the post and wished his co-star a Happy New Year.

“I love you,” Tan said. “I hope next year will be so much better and that we can finally celebrate your wedding.”

Jonathan kept his relationship a secret

Antoni Porowski laughed at the secret, joking: “Wait, you have a dog?!?!?!” as he joked about another Jonathan milestone.

Although he managed to hide his marriage, Jonathan kept much of his romance with handsome Mark a secret.

The couple started dating in late 2019 when they started liking and commenting on each other’s Instagram post, although their relationship was never publicly confirmed.

According to Cosmopolitan, Ness parted ways with his last known partner, South African rugby player Wilco Froneman in December 2018.
