Since the launch of Warzone in March 2020, players have been trying to compete in a race to the top. Now we have yet another revolutionary record victory.
Solo vs Duos is a category reserved for players who like challenges. Not only do users attempt as many wins as possible, they also do it alone against teams of 2.
Former champion Charlie ‘MuTeX’ Saouma held three consecutive world records in Solo vs Duos. But now even his best score of 50 kills in Warzone has been beaten.
NRG HusKerrs is the new Warzone Solo Duo world record holder
With an incredible 54 wins in the Solo Duo category, HusKerrs is the new world record holder for Warzone Solo Duos. This crazy race took place on December 30, as a great way to end 2020.
Making excellent use of the new, more powerful Warzone cannons, Jordan ‘HusKerrs’ Thomas was able to dominate the competition. Just looking at his comeback, it’s clear that the shattered weapons of the Cold War were not what drove the HusKerrs to victory.
While falling hot in Superstore, the two HusKerrs aim and his consciousness is on another level. He clears the area quickly, with 5 kills before grabbing a load drop outside.
Baiting enemies to rush to his position, the streamer immediately destroys them with a few hits of DMR 14. From there, the professional Warzone player travels around the map in a vehicle, taking out enemies he is able to track down. .
Warzone has a new champion
Although HusKerrs initially predicted that its slow start was on track for around 40 kills, the user is able to accomplish much more than expected. The user however makes a crucial mistake in choosing the specialist upgrade.
With that in hand, all Cold War weapon reloads are halted in Warzone. But that’s still not enough to stop the HusKerrs from crushing the Solo Duos world record of 4 eliminations.
The streamer didn’t even know the current record at the end of the game, asking his cat if he had just created a new better world.
Of course, there were a lot of death comms complaining about the quality of DMR in Warzone. And it’s fair to say the gun needs a serious nerf.
The same can be said for the Mac-10, which HusKerrs also makes excellent use of. But since the server is on a par with the weapons available, we would say this is quite a fair world record.
