Ciara and Russell Wilson have fun with their kids in matching party aprons on Christmas

Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson were feeling ‘grateful’ when they rang the bell in 2021.

The 35-year-old singer hosted Dick Clark’s New Years Eve in Los Angeles last night, but she was thinking of her family when she posted Christmas photos.

In the video, the couple and their children, Sienna, three, Win, five months, and Ciara’s eldest, Future Zahir, six, wore matching checkered aprons as they stood in their kitchen and did silly grimaces.

The family wore white turtlenecks under the aprons as they posed in a festive setting with a wreath and Christmas presents.

She wrote: “Thankful for the laughter, the joy, the family and the love. Hope for a better new year for the world! Happy New Year everyone!’

They featured an animated display as Wilson, 32, led the countdown to the photo pose as they put on a ‘scary face’.

Striking a pose while making a pastry mix, Ciara joked, “ It’s not a Merry Christmas, ” as they pretended to hit each other with spatulas.

Wilson also took to social media to express his thoughts on the New Year while also reflecting on the challenges of 2020.

He shared a family portrait, writing: ‘2020 … has brought challenges. Obstacles … opportunities for change … great loss of loved ones come and go … as well as new life.

He continued, “2021… I don’t know what you will bring… but for my family, we will continue to believe that love is the way!

Ciara appeared to be leaving her family at home last night as she hosted the virtual New Years Eve party from the West Coast alongside Ryan Seacrest who was live from Times Square.

She’s hit the ball with plenty of fun performances including Megan Thee Stallion, Miley Cyrus, Maluma, and Doja Cat.

Hitmaker Goodies showed off her icy blue locks and twerking skills in a black snakeskin pantsuit that had a bit of sheen.

Earlier this week, she and her best friend Vanessa Bryant took their kids on a ski trip to Montana, where Ciara and her kids first learned to ski, as she said even though she thought that it was ‘so much fun’.
