PITTSBURGH – Cornerback Joe Haden has tested positive for COVID-19, a source told ESPN’s Dan Graziano, creating a major hole in the Steelers’ high school with the playoffs within a week.
Even though they are asymptomatic, players who test positive must be isolated for at least 10 days, making it likely that Haden will miss the first round of the playoffs, as well as the Week 17 game of Sunday against the Cleveland Browns – a team dealing with their own COVID-19 situation this week.
Haden alluded to the situation with a vague tweet Saturday morning.
I am so pissed off and sad at the same time ….. stay safe here

Haden, a former Browns member who has two interceptions this season, missed a game earlier this year with a concussion.
With Haden out, expect versatile defensive backs Cam Sutton and Mike Hilton to have increased roles. Sutton was the main substitute for Haden and his other starting cornerback Steve Nelson when either missed the time.
