The phrase “ Neck Reveal ” was one of the biggest trends on Twitter on New Years Day, after Minecraft YouTuber Dream made an appearance in MrBeast’s YouTube flashback. But, he did manage to reveal just part of her neck in a “ telltale face ” prank.
Faceless YouTubers have become a phenomenon over the past year or so, with scheming creators only revealing their voices tenfold after Corpse Husband’s explosion in popularity.
Dream is another example of a content creator who chooses not to show his face, instead he is led by a simple stickman and a vibrant green color that has become iconic among his fans and instantly recognizable.
Dream is known for its Minecraft content, especially its huge SMP server.
The Minecraft YouTuber has seen an unprecedented increase in numbers from one million subscribers to over 15 million subscribers in the space of just one year. He continues to increase this following through his massive Minecraft SMP server which has become extremely popular on social media.
Fans got excited when Dream announced he would “start 2021 on a high note,” in MrBeast’s YouTube flashback to 2021, posting a video of him holding a painting to his face that hinted that he would be doing a face revealed.

Almost instantly, the phrase “He’s real” trended, with fans surprised to see what is presumed to be the YouTuber in the flesh for the first time.
However, there were mixed feelings when in the rewind video he removed the board to reveal a balloon with a face on it instead of his real face in a perfect prank.

Instead, Dream simply revealed a section of her neck, and fans quickly started making memes out of it on Twitter, and the joke was so popular it started trending on the site within minutes.

It might not have been the face some had hoped for, but Dream fans really had fun with the short clip and confused some Twitter users who may not have been told about the process.
