This year, Rockstar Games is releasing an “extended and improved” version of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. As you can see, the trailer gives the game a visual upgrade and, while far from perfect, it gives a taste of what a remaster of the game could look like. And as you might expect, all of the main characters – CJ, Big Smoke, Ryder, Agent Frank Tenpenny, Kendl, Cesar, and Sweet – are all in attendance.
While Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive are unlikely to be remastered or remade GTA San Andreas, there’s a good chance it’ll be, alongside a few other nostalgic entries, re-released on PS5 like this, City of vice, and more have been re-released on the latest generation PS4. That said, as of yet, this has not been confirmed. What GTA fans can hope this year is an “extended and improved” version of GTA 5, and who knows, maybe a GTA 6 reveal too.
