Bennet, 28, shared the news with his more than 2.6 million Instagram followers on New Years Eve, Entertainment Tonight reported.
“On Christmas morning I woke up with a high fever and unable to breathe. I have been tested, and am positive for COVID-19, ”Bennet wrote on his Instagram story.
“It’s been a tough week to say the least,” wrote Bennet, who added that “several members” of his family were also infected and that they “fought together.”
Although Bennet assured fans that she was “fine”, she encouraged them to remain diligent about the virus and take it seriously.
