After a year of wondering if, and what might have been, the Ohio State football team achieved redemption and kidnapped the Clemson monkey. The Buckeyes were 0-4 against the Tigers all-time, but it ended with a resounding 49-28 call.
For Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, it was probably the end of a brilliant career, in which he was a great ambassador for college football. The entire sporting world would be extremely shocked if Lawrence did not declare himself for the 2021 NFL Draft.
But first, Lawrence met the media after the game and asked a few questions about what happened on the pitch. He was very gracious and gave the state of Ohio a lot of credit. Hear what he said while watching the video below taken by the folks at the Sugar Bowl.
