The Phantasmic! The nightly shows are no longer available since the reopening of Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A recent update to the digital map, however, sheds new light on the show. The Disney World app has been updated to include a detailed Mickey Mouse Wizard from Fantasmic!
Zooming out, we can see colorful spotlights and a little wizard Mickey.
When zoomed in, the Fantasmic! art takes on a three-dimensional aspect. Wizard Mickey has even more details.
Pinching to zoom reveals the extent of detail. The wizard Mickey is made to the measure of our imagination.
While the map change didn’t come with a reopening announcement, and we don’t want to read too much about it, it may be an indicator that Fantasmic! will come back ASAP. We recently noticed that two shuttered shows – “Festival of the Lion King” and “Finding Nemo: The Musical” – have been removed from the printed maps of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
